Green Log supports Google Sign-In for cloud sync and team round features. When you sign in, the following information is collected and stored on our server:
Sign-in is optional. You can use the app's core features (score recording, statistics, etc.) without signing in.
For signed-in users, golf scores and round information are transmitted to and stored on our server for cloud sync. This allows you to access the same records on other devices. If you are not signed in, all data is stored only on your device.
When using the team round feature, participants' display names, hole-by-hole scores, and progress are shared in real time with other participants in the same room.
To display in-app advertisements and measure their effectiveness, the following information may be transmitted to our advertising SDK (Google AdMob) and Apple SKAdNetwork:
Users who have purchased "Remove Ads" (in-app purchase) will not see ads, and the ad-related data described above will not be transmitted.
Green Log uses Apple HealthKit to collect the following data during a round:
This data is stored on the device, and for signed-in users, it is also transmitted to and stored on our server for cloud sync. Health data is attached to the round record so users can review their own activity, and is never shared with third parties.
HealthKit access requires the user's explicit permission, which can be revoked at any time via iPhone Settings → Health → Data Access & Devices.
Green Log does not provide, share, or sell users' health data to any third party.
Information is shared with third parties only in the following cases:
Green Log does not use any separate analytics tools.
For ad delivery, we use Google AdMob; for ad-effectiveness measurement, we use Apple SKAdNetwork.
In accordance with Apple's App Tracking Transparency (ATT) policy, tracking via the Advertising Identifier (IDFA) only occurs when the user has explicitly granted permission. Users can change this permission at any time via iPhone Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.
Users who have purchased "Remove Ads" (in-app purchase) will not see ads in the app.
Users can delete individual round records inside the app, and uninstalling the app removes all local data completely. Workout data stored in HealthKit can be deleted separately via the iPhone Health app.
To delete data synced to the server, sign out from the app's settings, or contact us at the address below and we will delete your server data.
Green Log does not collect any personal information from children and is safe for users of all ages.
If this policy is updated, we will announce the changes on this page.
